About Senrabe Orientals
Who we are
I am an Oriental Shorthair breeder located in Northern California near Sacramento. We breed these wonderful and lovely cats for health, temperment, and type. Our focus is the solid cinnamon colored oriental, as well as bicolors, but from time to time, my cats produce other colors. My lines have been imported from reputable catteries around the world, and I have put together a program that yeilds healthy cats.
Why do I breed Oriental Shorthairs?
The oriental shorthair is a study in color and lines. Everything about this breed is related to long sweeping lines. You have long ears that create a "V" when following the line down to the muzzle. You have a long tubular, hard body, and a whippy tail. Long legs and and refined bones finish off this elegant look. The oriental comes in over 350 colors and patterns. I breed my cats to the standard outlined with CFA.
My cats are bred as pets first, and then for the show hall.
